Paris, 2013. Damien is a member of an elite police squadron, a special unit highly trained in martial arts and the precise physical skills necessary to navigate the treacherous urban landscape of Paris' future. Just saw this movie. It really was a great movie. My only problem was the subtitles kind of sucked, but it's definately forgiveable since teh story takes a backseat to the action anyway.

Just watched it on DVD....fantastic movie. The action is reminiscent of Ong Bok crossed with a John Woo shoot-em-up. I highly recommend for people to look it up and give it a try.

On the DVD, the "extended fight scene" in the casino is great (just wish it had all been put back into the movie).

I was going to just keep my bootleg version until I heard about that fight and a freaking 1 hour long documentary.

Just watched it on DVD....fantastic movie. The action is reminiscent of Ong Bok crossed with a John Woo shoot-em-up. I highly recommend for people to look it up and give it a try.

The plot's reminiscent of escape from new york, and by reminiscent I mean, a rip off of...

I loved that extended casino fight! It's wierd when you see the directors cuts of Daredevil or Riddick or the extended scenes on something like Transporter 2 and can't help but wonder, why did they cut all this action from an action movie?

So? Am I not supposed to like the better action, cooler fights, better effects, and faster pace of "B13" because of similar plot ideas from a 30 year old movie? If that is the case....then why watch 99% of the movies and TV shows made today? "Escape" is and always will be one of my favorite movies....but that doesn't mean that I can't appreciate similar movies.

I don't get it either. If you are making an "action" movie that you are targeting towards "action movie fans" then why cut out some of the best "action" sequences made. The extended casino fight is one of the best fight scenes filmed...I thought the stuff in the movie was fantastic, then I saw the cut stuff...SHAZAM!!

I loved Subway and Le Dernier Combat...original, weird, and fun movies.....but I have no problem with this script being similar in tone to others. If his swansong was a thoroughly unenjoyable boring mess...then I would be disappointed...but this was extreme fun to watch.

It's not much different, just a few more wickedly cool kills at the ending.

This film is the new Equilibrium.
