Do anyone's summer vacations ever turn out like Instagram, Pinterest orTumblr? These always seem very idyllic. Some blogs by a single person (rather than someone who has just collected photos) seem to show a person continually enjoying the sun and life in general.

Is it all just an illusion with multiple shots?

I'm not talking just about people's vacation photos but their time spent away in general. Is it ever as good as these pictures make it appear?

I live in a place that millions of people spend thousands of dollars on to come to every summer for vacation for one or two weeks out of the year. Essentially, my entire life is awesome 365 days a year! :o

But no, most social media post in general, are smoke and mirrors. Just BS people use to try and present a facade of an ideal picture for the world. Like most things in life, it all depends on how much money you have. Lots of money equals much "nicer" pictures for everyone to be jealous of.
