He's a major part of the Hulk mythology, and considering that this is a complete reboot, and a completely new beginning, should there be a new, more sympathetic, version of the Talbot character? Or can we do without him?

yeah, Talbot is a very good character

Yes, we do need another Glenn. Josh Lucas was too blonde and just lame.

I agree, his relationship with Betty is an integral part of the early mythos. I think they could really make him a good and interesting character this time, and less of the psycho he was in Ang Lee's crap, kind of like Richard in Superman Returns.

I agree, we need a much better actor who actually looks like Glenn this time. Jennifer Connelly, Sam Elliott and Nick Nolte were good casting choices the last time. But Eric Bana was wrong for Banner and Lucas was wrong for Talbot.

I think that Josh Lucas made Talbot better then he is even being in the comics.

Talbot still was never what you'd call a villain though. Arrogant, stupid, selfish, but not an out and out psycho like in the Ang Lee movie. Lucas was all just bug eyes and evil grin.

Talbot should be in but should be portrayed by a better actor & he shouldn't be killed this time.

No, leave Talbot where is.

Absolutely, I feel this is one area where Ang Lee kinda dropped the ball. Unless your familiar with the comics or happened to read the novel, you never really knew why Betty & Bruce had any kind of issues with Talbot, outside of the military stuff, in Ang's film. The fact that Ross sees him as the perfect man for his child while Banner is the ultimate enemy is the perfect yin and yang to their father and daughter relationship...

Forget about Talbot, go forth with other interesting characters like Zzzax.
