i donate regularly to the ASPCA thrift store and during the holidays to TOYS FOR TOTS

Also Make A Wish, Paralyzed Veterans, American Red Cross and the American Cancer Society.

But geez I was giving them a few bucks every now and then, and I'm not sure if they share information but now I must get 20 Charity Solicitations monthly.

Many charities do sell their information.

a few yrs ago a charity screwed me out of seen my family for christmas, you see when I was living in london I joined a charity that took out 5 pounds every month in my bank account and gives it to the blind ppl , and when I wanted to buy a plane ticket to go back home I disovered that I was short of 5 pounds

no, but, really I give through work 25 cent a week, out of my check, goes to "united way", and I’ll toss some coins into the lil red (salvation army) bucket, here and there, I am also a sucker for any kids going door to door looking for donations or sell stuff, in fact just early today, some kid came by, and I gave a $5'er, I figure why not
