What to do with your money when you die...

On the same thoughts 37 BILLION to charity...I figured I would post what I would do.

Lets say this.

If I had 20 BILLION to leave, I think I would break it down like this.

1 - 1Billion would goto Stephen F. Austin State University

• $250 Million would goto having them setup a NEW Department of Technology - Separating Computer dept from Business
• $250 Million would goto the Agriculture ande Forestry Colleges. SFASU has one of the most respected Forestry colleges in the world. I want to see that continue.
• $250 Million would goto the general fund, with a stipulation, NONE is to goto the sports areas.
• $250 Million would goto any of the arts departments. To really try to buff up their Art classes.

2 - Setup a foundation to donate to only 2 charities a year. Thus giving larger amounts of money to only 2 foundations then many foundations for little money. Problably for Health Research and for Scholorships

I would probably give some to animal and children charities and the rest to family and friends.

Either that or I would have it all buried with me with a sign reading "I told you all that I would take it with me!"

When I die, I will probably have about 37 cents to give away. This is after my creditors rape my bank account. I will probably donate the 37 cents to some charities. I have not decided who will receive my vast fortune but I will try to spread it out as much as possible.

If I had that kind of money I would set up a fund for anyone related to me by blood to be able to borrow money to either get a better education or start their own business. The interest rate charged on the loans would be the same interest rate as the money would have earned had it remained in the bank.

Well all that money wouldnt go to my kids. Why would I want to give them money without working for it. If I earned it I would want them to do the same. All of it would go to charity. More old rich guys should do the same. You cant take it with you so put it to good on some research.

About half would go to my family. I have to think of a couple of charaties that would: 1) protect the Earth 2) protect a couple of different endangered animals 3) fight a couple of diseases and 4) help some poor. As to which ones specifically, I'm not sure.

I put it in a secret vault in my mansion, that no one would know about. Then I'd leave an elaborate set of clues as to where my fortune is that would take "contestants" throughout the world to find my fortune and it would end right where it started.

That or go the Brewster's Millions route, a relative would have to spend $300,000,000 within 30 days, but couldn't have anything to show for it, if they could do it they win the $37billion, if not it's burned.
