Do You Have Any Truly Bizarre Phobias

Sooo... that gigantic poster of that fat hermaphrodite I've been wanting to put up next to your house is a no go? :csad:

I can make an exception for that. Just give me a lil warning so I can get my gimp mask dry cleaned.

Really? Wow, I never realised it was that bad for you. I'm sorry. I understand now what you mean. Sorry for being an ass. I didn't mean to trivialise it.

I can't tell if this is sarcasm... because I don't really know you that well and because it reads like something I'd type if I were being sarcastic. But yeah, when I get fevers... I usually have horrible dreams and its always about that. I have no idea why.

I wish I could just be afraid of big giant posters like Eggyman.

It's not an easy life, knowsbleed. I live in the city. They are everywhere :(

Sadly I don't have any bizzare phobias... or phobias at all for that matter.

However, my high school science teacher was hysterically afraid of bananas...

has he spent time in jail or something?:hehe:

No sarcasm there. I really mean it. I'm sorry.

Ketchup does not = tomato sauce. Ketchup is tomato sauce with several other ingredients, including corn syrup, sugar, salt, vinegar, and others. If you tried to dip your fries in tomato sauce, as used on spaghetti, it would be disgusting. And if you tried to make a pizza with ketchup, it would also be disgusting.

We still call that sauce, cause it still is a sauce, just a different kind of sauce than what goes on spaghetti (which is usually tomato paste).... and the fact that "Ketchup" just sounds silly.

It's not a phobia but I have general paranoia about people walking behind me.

I have a horrifying fear of Steve Buschemi...

Seriously look at the guy.

The primary taste for ketchup is salt & vinegar which you get none of in tomatoe sauce.

In the UK Tomato Sauce is Ketchup and Vice Versa.

You are aware that they are not... Anyware, tomato sauce is much thinner and notably sweeter, the sort of thing you get on baked beans, ketchup is thicker, saltier and if you eat as much of it as you would tomato sauce, you would vomit.:o

Really? I always thought it was a language thing and what the Americans call ketchup is what the Brits call tomato sauce.

Bizarre phobias? Random hairs. They're disgusting. Unless they're mine or my girlfriends I'm fine, but when it comes to sitting down, to find a random strand? I freak. I really freak :(

Nope, in all forms of English it's true name is Ketchup, however there are a lot of people who confuse it for tomato sauce, I just see it as general ignorance, much the same as when people say a thing (for instance a package) is suspicious rather than suspect.

No what goes on spaghetti is *shock horror* spaghetti sauce.

Wow, thanks. I didn't know that.

we still call that tomato sauce... there are some brands that have sell a darker "ketchup" but it's not all that popular - nor is it that different to other labels of tomato sauce. For everything like chips, sausages, hot dogs, pies etc we just use tomato sauce, or occasionally bbq sauce. Obviously we don't use the same type of tomato sauce that we would use on pizzas or pasta.

i think you're confused, just cause your tin says "beans in a tomato sauce" it doesn't mean that it is the only possible style of tomato sauce globally...

again, not meaning to be rude, but when it comes to what is it's correct name in "English" I'm gonna stick with what the brits call it, having invented the language an all...

You're an idiot, I'm English (a Hampshirite to be precise) so don't be condescending like that especially when you're wrong, Ketchup is the name of a condiment, Tomato sauce is part of the dish, now just because you call Ketchup Tomato sauce doesn't mean you are correct, in fact almost any fool could tell you the difference, so get you're facts right and don't make yourself look like a ****, you're really letting the side down.:o

Another little tidbit for the idiot with the culinary knowledge of a dog, Ketchup is not always made with tomatoes, in fact originally it was made with mushrooms and mushroom ketchup is still available in many shops today, but numerous other varieties including pumpkin ketchup and banana ketchup are also available.

But Mushrooms are awesome, they're like the food equivalent of russian roulette to stupid people.

Now you know what you should be scared of... ME!:cmad:

Okay I'm not talking about spiders of heights or anything like that because they are to some extent based in sense, I wanna find out if you have extremely weird phobias E.G sock puppets or swings or am I the only one with completely random phobias?

Okay so my 2 bizarre phobias are

Black And White Minstrels
