I've cut back on caffeine. 2 days without it -- This ain't easy! :cmad::cmad:

I'm useless for several hours if I don't have a Monster in the morning. I can drink caffeinated beverages all day and still sleep like a baby

Sometimes it throws my sleep off, the annoying thing is too much caffeine if you don't have high tolerance and getting the jitters/palpitations. But better than feeling sleepy ;)

I don't drink a lot of soda, but I love iced tea, and coffee is like a morning ritual. My need for coffee depends on how early I have to be up, travel mugs are a must. I think I have an equal addiction to pursuing the perfect travel mug and/or coffee cup.

I had a mild heart attack after drinking a huge Mountain Dew about a decade ago. Doctor told me to stop drinking caffeine and I haven't touched a soda, coffee, or any other caffeinated drink since.

Stupid question maybe, but how did you know you had a heart attack (like what did you experience) ?

It felt as if someone took a giant screwdriver to my chest and started twisting all my chest muscles into a knot. In addition, sweat came out of every pore in my body and there was a slight tingling sensation in my arms. I cannot imagine going through something like that again. :csad:

Whoa  I'm glad you made it man!

I don't drink any Caffieine but maybe a few times a year. I'll admit I'll have some chocolate to get me going sometimes though, especially at work.

My chronic illness means my heart goes bonkers after caffeine. The only trace of caffeine I get is the occasional chocolate. I miss my daily buzz from coffee and tea. Decaf just isn't the same.

I have pop fairly often and a cappuccino on the days I have to work. Not really for the caffeine though.

I've tried switching over to drinking tea more often. I purchased one of those PerfecTea makers from Teavana; just throw some hot water in (I'm not particular on temperature), let the loose leaf tea sit in it for a bit, then plot it right on top of a cup and plenty of antioxidants and low sugar. Yerba Mate tea has 24 vitamins and minerals as well.

No coffee, soda or tea: nothing.

I stick to water and occasionally I'll have a Powerade.

Occasionally, I'll purchase those Emergen-C packets. No caffeine yet plenty of vitamins in refreshing drink when I'm on the move and hard pressed have well-rounded meals throughout the day. I like those as well.

A pot of cofee, black, and two Monster zeroes a day for me.

I've reluctantly used coffee when I've needed to readjust my sleeping schedule.

I don't need it, but I don't avoid it.
I have some when I'm in the mood for it.

I used to drink a lot of soda but I have cut back severely over the past several years. I do get caffiene withdrawl sometimes and that is not fun.

I drink at least 20 ounces of caffeinated soda every day. When I was younger I hardly ever drank caffiene, but now it's my fuel.

i don't drink coffee ever. i hate it.

the only soda i drink is cheerwine and very rarely do i drink much tea these days.

I use to drink so much coffee that my baby mama though I was smashin the mermaid lady on the logo.
