For those that do it almost involuntarily, could you go one day without swearing?

Probably not, I do it almost involuntarily. Maybe if I didn't run or play video games that day, since I usually swear doing that without even meaning to. Especially now with running and it being so hot out, a "f*** it's hot!" will just come out at least once or twice under my breath.

I think driving is what makes me swear. Other than while in my car, i rarely curse. I tell myself everyday "I wont swear today", but as soon as i get behind the wheel, some damned animal does something that pisses me off and makes me curse up a storm . I dropped a few bombs after picking up my mom the other day, she gave me a look and proceeded to tell me how she taught me better manners than that lol. Even when i'm a passenger i find myself cursing when i see someone doing something stupid. I think i suffer from a minor case of road rage, minus the running people over or beating them up, i dont take it that far

So i try but i rarely succeed .

I cuss like a sailor , but one time I went 5 days without swearing. I ended up failing a test and I cussed like crazy.

I cursed like a sailor until I was 15. Then I started going to church and decided I wanted to stop. That was 14 years ago and I've cursed 11 times since then... 8 of which were all due to a previous job and the man in charge of it. I've not cussed in almost two years now.
