Do you understand what the word theory means in a scientific context?

It doesn't stick for a reason.

For years I thought that creationists (or at least the die hard ones) simply didn't understand. I think they do, to some level, they just deliberately reject it.

They know damn well what a theory is in scientific terms. They just pretend they don't.

Theory. To postulate a hypothesis about a circumstance or observable phenomenon.

It is not a fact, but a response to observations with the intent of providing a predictable result from a suspected cause or set of variables.

"My theory is that the reason the ice storm is such a pain is people are too dependant on electricity and they are no longer hardy and able to confront nature and subdue it as in days of old. I shall test this by putting older people and younger people through a series of tests and determining if in fact, the generation of young people today are in fact all *****es."

Theory - the act of being being constantly afraid of things.

Example - I would go hunting them zombies, but I theory they will kill me.

Just let your neighbors go hunt the zombies, chances are they will be eaten and you will not.
