The Amazing Spider-Man Does anyone else get an empty feeling from this movie?

Ugh.. why are you saying that Pete would beat up the thief? Sure, he wanted to do so in TASM, but even with your opinion on Pete, you should think that he would mature..

sorta the point of character development.

-_-

It was a joke. That scenario could never happen, unless [in James Cromwell's voice] Flint Marko is his uncle's actual killer.

If Parker were to encounter the thief, I would expect him to let the thief go.

Are we talking about Spider-Man 3 again? Didn't we have a new movie come out? You'd think people would talk about that more, not recycle the same crap.

I know what is, we don't see Spiderman as a hero in New York's eyes. I don't think the words, "New York" was even mentioned in the movie. Sam Raimi's Spiderman had NY responding to what they think of Spiderman.

It's like this movie totally left out NY, that is what's missing, AND I'M NOT EVEN FROM NEW YORK

Oh yes they did they New York in a lot. It made me sick

Right away. And it was great. They didn't make us think it was Joe Chill first for two movies. :cwink:

How was the Flint Marco twist any different to anything that happened in say the Matrix sequels? I understand you don't like it and that's fine. I also understand that the cheesy scenes ruined SM3 for you without redemption but for me it had some of the best action scenes of the 3 and the character development of Peter, though cheesy, I thought it was very well done by MacGuire as I have already expressed elsewhere. The comparisons to Batman and Robin are laughable (can't remember too many fluro lights in SM3).

That statement alone speaks volumes about TASM. Just sayin.

To be fair, it has been two years since the reboot was announced and it looks like we are still talking about recycling the same crap :oldrazz: jk jk

Don't you know? When talking about TASM gets stale, just bring up sm3. Them the rulez

The Amazing Spider-Man 3:

(Spider-Man confronts convenience store thief.)

Peter: "Do you know how much suffering you put me through! The torment... now before you feel my pain, pal, tell me who you are."

Thief: "..."

Peter: "Say it!"

Thief: "Flint Marko! Argh."

Fans everywhere: "UGH NO!"

You made a mistake my friend. It is Webb's reboot. SO it the same, but also the exact opposite, like the final scene of the ASM...

So it can't be Flint Marko. he has a star on his left wrist, and Webb says we will see never seen before villian in his serie (like Norman Osborn Green Goblin)... it's in fact Max Dillon or Quentin Beck !

TASM was good but not good enough. You cannot make a film just as a preparation for a sequel, it's a shame.
