thats what makes God cool, he doesnt really need to care about us, but he does....if we were that smart, as humans ,we wouldnt care, but hes not human, he's God.

Probably because it's much easier for everyone if we're not sure he exists. I site the episode of Futurama where Bender is lost in space and becoms God to a race of tiny space people as my example.
