Before or after we're born?

Does God favor some people more than others? If so, when does he decide they will have better lives than others?

Well if he is all knowing he ought to be able to do it before, but if we have free will then after.

From what I've observed, God's favorites tend to pick themselves.

were all given challenges some different than others its up to us how we go about them. We can all help those in need- but do you?

Where's the "He doesn't have favourites" option?

I was going to post scripture and try to argue the posters question. But I read these two post, and now I can't stop laughing.

Touche, guys. :D

Obviously God didn't pick this thread as one of his favorites.

So people born into rich families with good looks decided they would be born into rich families with good looks? The poor crippled man that's mocked by schoolchildren and begs for scraps chose to be a cripple in a third world country?

Not everyone has the same opportunities. How does God decide who will get more opportunities and who won't?

Everybody...can help themselves. I dunno if God picks favs, I do know that it would be nice if he stopped a Tornado, Hurricane or other natural disaster from killing people. I'm sure he has reasons why he doesn't do this. (everybody has to die sometime is probably one)

Tell that to Brad Pitt when he's banging Angelina Jolie ontop of a pile of money.

So, your measure of being God's favorite is how rich and good looking someone is? I see.

By the way, my original statement was a commentary on piety and entitlement amongst some religious folks you thick clod.

God has favorites? I always thought he was too selfish to have favorites...

Who knew?

You said "God's favorite's pick themselves" and are ******ed enough to believe there is no other way that can be interpreted. How can you fit a head so big so far up your own ass?

Too selfish to have favorites? The most selfish parents are the quickest to establish favored children.

Are you really this much of a childish *****ebag?

Look, I'm sorry my complicated concepts and commentary frighten and confuse you. Maybe you can get Kritish or JStorm to explain them to you in smaller, easier to understand bites of information.

This is coming from a guy who actually believes Brad Pitt's wealth and relationships have everything to do with being "God's Favorite" :whatever:

Actually, I was intimating that you had grasped the concept of my first post immediately and that perhaps you might be able to translate it for blind_fury, who seems to have been unable to understand the subtext.
