Ok, Kletus would never be seen at a church unless he was lighting it on fire, or if he just killed the reverand.

Besides, Kletus should be saved till "4" anyways. Brock should get his ass kicked by Spidey in 4, sent to jail, then meets Kletus, and Kletus offers that if the both of them work together they could rid Spider-Man from their lives forever.

What I find humor in is the fact that so many people here "KNOW" that this is going to happen, or that isn't going to happen. RMT was just suggesting something, an idea, and while you may or may not like it, that's one thing, but to say that anything about this film IS or ISN'T going to happen is absurd. No one, NO ONE can say that until the movie is released.

X3 was the allegedly the final chapter, but there were those two scenes, as pointed out by someone else in this thread, that left it completely the franchise open to further sequels.

I swear there will only be 3. I remember sony saying they only want to do 3. Plus if the original cast dont want to do anymore than im happy having 3 very well made movies instead of 5,6,7 ****ty crap movies with different cast each time.

well, you have to understand that this might be the last entry for SM for a while. if raimi and the main cast leave (which will probably happen), they're definitely not gonna recast, get a new director, and release part 4 3 years later.

that's a recipe for disaster, and they've seen the mistakes the batman franchise made with that. sony will be too smart to let that happen.

OK I started the Lizard thread to see what people thought of my theory of the LIzard being the 4th villian, but NOW, I have another thought.

It appears that Venom and Sandman will actually FIGHT in this movie, but we keep getting reports that Venom will show up in the last ten minutes..


SOOOO Maybe After Spider-Man defeats Venom, since he knows the bell will take the suit off, he carries Brock to the Bell.

The bells start ringing, and the suit is peeling off, but not all the way when: BAM in comes GG! They fight... and Brock escapes....

Roll Credits

THEN after credits we see the church, and a man coming in to confess his sins, and when he is there, a SMALL amount of the suit attaches himself..... setting up CARNAGE for SM 4 ?!!?!?

Whatcha think about that.

Oh - ALSO I really hope that the Q and A isn't right, and the Venom suit looks JUST like the Spider-Man suit in all black. Its suppose to flow, have tendrils... and if they ruin that, I might not see this movie... for a fourth time...

Agreed...Cassidy would never be seen at or anywhere near a church unless it benefited him somehow. In other words, don't have Cletus get the suit at the church...that idea is horrible and out of character.

uh, the movie itself has 4 villains. And i think that Marvel will only be willing to do the Stay after for the credits gag once.

Venom will be the main villain in a spidy movie (I.e. not ten minutes of screen time, but the full movie.) Before we even get anywhere close to carnage. Think about it. It was GG in sm 1, then GG2 in sm2. The too many golbins rule is the same as saying too many symbiote guys. It wont happen, maybe in spidy 5 or 6, but def not 3 or 4.
