Dolph Lundgren was a great Punisher

Lundgren's Punisher is very underrated (as is the film - yeah, it's cheap, that much is obvious - but it's got some real plus points, the opening credits score, the stealth attack on the mobsters at the beginning, Louis Gossett Junior, ninjas, the fun house, the fight at the pier etc, and it's done in a good old fashioned, unapologeticly violent 80's action/revenge way - something which suited the Punisher character - what's not to like?!).

Plus Dolph was was the closest thing in real life we'll ever see to a 'Jim Lee' Frank Castle.

Now that you mention it he does resemble Jim Lee's Punisher.

A wood plank!

Yeah, Jane's Punisher may have been a bit too lean for some people, but he delivered the goods in terms of action AND acting.

Dolph was a decent Punisher. But Jane as Punisher was way better. I think Jane will be even better in the next movie. Plus, it just shows how much respect Jane has for the character.

i really get a kick out of dolph's punisher. it entertains me. the skull on his chest would have made the movie that much better.

Hopefully one of our 'Photoshop adept' fellow hypesters would be really obliging and put a skull on one of the Dolph pics.

;)

Jane's punisher is shamefully underrated. Jane could have done better, granted he had a better script to work with but he himself delivered.
