Continuing where that post credits scene left off is something that obviously needed to happen. I said it before and I'll say it again, it's shocking that a 4th film in an action franchise can introduce that many characters who can all hold their own movie. At this point, I'm totally invested in Caine and the character of Akira.

My main gripe with Caine, Akira, Ballerina, etc...

Is that as the series has grown, we meet so many characters who are just as good at killing/fighting as John Wick himself.

Whereas in those first two films...he was on another level. But in the latter half of the franchise, it seems like John Wicks are a dime a dozen.

Kinda takes away a bit of his lore and makes him less special, in a way.

For me, the fact that every single character introduced in Chapter 4 could hold their own movie speaks volumes to the level of thought Stahelski has given this world. And if Wick is gone, I say bring it all on.

Interesting, I didn't know they were making a second Wick spin-off, Donnie Yen is always good value and Caine is one of the best characters introduced in the franchise.
