Bethesda Doom Eternal

Doom has come so far. It just looks amazing.

Got my preorder in today at Amazon. Used Prime shipping, so will it be here on release? I've never preordered a game off Amazon before.

It should be there by end of release date but the combination of coronavirus and last mile delivery means it might be a day or two late.

I have it fully digitally installed and is already a pinned game on my xbox dashboard

I’m gagging for it. We went into voluntary isolation today and it would be so perfect for something to play outside of work hours to distract me. I’m going to get this first and then animal crossing. Digitally.

I'm not reading any reviews but I'm assuming they're positive mike that third one

They certainly are. I wonder how soon they will announce doom 3!

88 on Metacritic at the moment. All reviews are positive.

From what I have seen of gameplay, I am very impressed with what they have done to the formula. And the visual design feels like it was given some great touchups.

I remember getting excited in the build up to Doom 3 thinking how much they were going to improve on what came before. This game is delivering everything I ever wanted from modern day technology improving a Doom game.

I'll have to wait until Tuesday because coronavirus. But I am patient and I definitely understand the delay. This virus is too serious to complain about a slight delivery delay.

Amazing and intense! Even better than the last game. Definently my favorite shooter right now

Doom 64 is also still awesome

I love Doom 1-2 (I like 3 more as a cutting edge tech. of it's time, and art direction). But I absolutely don't get the passion for Bethesda Doom games. Not only they look like Diablo III only in FPS mode, but they're so "console" in spirit and it's something I can't associate with classic 90s PC shooters.

Those who don't want to play poor man's Doom. Or did they try to make it look like Quake?

I don't worship Quake's levels. But game design was compensated by advanced movement and physics. Tricks really enriched gameplay.

Doom 64 - one of many conversions of Doom. There's nothing special about it. Only aura of exclusivity, because it was locked on N64 for decades.
