Runaways Doomsday | Runaways | EP9

I guess it's Frank

who betrays the Runaways compared to the comics? Who else is exactly going to betray them now? That would seem like a double betrayal and a bit of a repeat of what has already happened.

What if
he was actually the one who killed Amy?

I don't get these conversations of "I guess this is how they'll do the thing in the comic" when they're obviously doing their own story, not the one in the comic. Doesn't mean they won't follow some comic beats in the future, but it also hardly feels likely for the final episode of the season.

I agree for the most part. The show shouldn't follow the comic note for note, mainly because if I want to read the comic book, I'll just read the comic book. In any case, it does feel like the Runaways comic. Has the teen drama, the uncertainty that comes with being a teen, the parents being villains, etc. (though the show devotes much of the time towards the parents). I'm enjoying it so far, but it could be paced better.
