Given that there's so many billion people on the planet (at any one time, never mind all those who have existed before us) ................... it stands to reason that the average human is going to have someone somewhere that greatly resembles them.
My mum/dad/brother/sister were in Spain a few years ago (they have a place there) and walked past a restaurant one afternoon. They looked in and became convinced that they could see me sitting at a table. They actually thought I had flown over to surprise them, and went in to the restaurant to say hello to me, only to realise it was a totally different guy once they got up close. They still think it's kinda spooky how much he looked like me not just facially but even the clothes, build and hair.
