When I went onto the Superherohype frontpage today Norton said that it had blocked a Downloader security risk. I then went to other sites and everything was fine, but when I returned to the Superherohype frontpage the warning came up again. This has never happened before, and after an hour or so the warning stoped coming up when I accessed the front page. Is this an error on Norton's part, or was there a risk on the frontpage?

yah mine did the same thing with my spbot search and destroy... and my windows defender..
who is uploading viruses on the hype again?

It just happened again! I went to the Superherohype front page and I got a message saying that a Downloader tried to attack my computer! Could someone please tell me what is going on. Is there a virus on the Superherohype front page?

Yep, I'm getting the same.

If quite a few of us are getting this, then it must be an infection on the front page. This is a serious problem. Someone has to sort it out.

Eh, sometimes virus scanners can be a little overzealous and declare threats where there are none, so it may not actually be anything malicious. However, it does need to be checked out, to determine whether it is or not, for certain.

I am being a bit paranoid, but when it comes to computer security you can never be too careful. It does need to be checked out though, to see what exactly the problem is.

well, i wouldn't be surprised if this is where i got my hijacker virus not too long ago. i still haven't fully recovered. the Jump/Redirect problem still happens to me, and i installed a boatload of anti-spyware/malware/virus programs.
Avast, AVG, SuperAntiSpyware, Spybot, AdAware, and a few others.

My Kaspersky protection picked something up recently too. I've really gotta change the sound it makes whenever it discovers something...hearing a pig squeal at full volume isn't the best thing ever.
