Lately, when I log onto the Hype at work where I do not have an ad blocker installed, I get a pop-up from our security network saying that there is a security risk. Whatever it is is then quarantined, and requires a computer restart in order for the program to remove it. I was unfamiliar with the term describing the threat, and I can't remember what it was other than I think it started with a "v," sorry :csad: I'm not sure if it is an ad carrying a risk, or what. I only question the ads because I have not been getting a security risk pop up at home. Has anyone had any issues with a virus here?

As long as you didn't download anything you should be fine.

its malware, I had that at my work's computer just get someone who fixes your company's computer.

I found out the name, it was labeled as "trojan.vundo"

yeah, you need to get your computer fixed. If you download malwarebytes it can help but since its your works computer just ask a IT specialist that your work hires

I think that the security software is effectively removing it, but within the past few days, it tries to run itself on my computer almost every time I visit the Hype. Not sure if it was something a site owner needed to know about.

You may still need to contact your IT Dept/Help Desk to get 2nd level to look at it and effectively remove the Vundo. It can be a pain to remove and keep popping up even if your companies Antivirus says it removed it.
