Dr. Gordon Returns to Saw 7

Sure *snicker* "LAST" one. I'm sure it'll be resurrected soon afterwards... especially if this "last" one makes a ton of money.

What do you mean Freddy's dead stuff? That movie was horrible.
Says you, that film was great in our sort of way. :)

But what I mean is, Freddy's Dead was set-up as the last Elm Street film, and SAW 3D is suppose to be the same. And both were in 3D.

Man, I can't wait to see what Hoffman looks like up close. I have a feeling the scar is going to look a lot more ****ed up.

It also looks like visual wise that some years have passed by, seeing as Hoffman looks a little more aged and has shorter hair too.

Hey, where's the love for Saw V? I liked it better than IV or VI. Plus it had Megan Good in it, and that was enough for me.

Though I agree with the poster that said Costas can't carry the series. When he took the reins in IV I almost gave up on the franchise, but later caught V and VI, and I'm willing to close it out with VII, which should be the final one correct?

I think V and VI removed my total disdain for Costas's character, I still don't find him all that compelling, or interesting enough to want to watch without some flashbacks to the original Jigsaw thrown in there.

Yeah, they're calling it SAW VII: No Really, This Is The Last One.

Oh jeez, how many people did Jagsaw planned to kill before he died. :whatever:

I always find it amusing that people who have a problem with Saw find their way to a thread like this. :whatever:

From the teaser trailer I am going to go ahead and say that the trap with Jill is a dream sequence. I honestly can't see them showing her demise in a teaser trailer or her in an elaborate trap to begin with.

Like how they didn't show Hoffman, Jigsaw, or our favorite doctor. :yay:

Oh snap, what the heck happened to The Apatow Crew?

The teaser looks really good, can't wait for this movie. Been a fan of the series since the days of Saw II, and hopefully this is a good finale for the series. It's been a fun ride, waiting for another one of these every year.

so it looks like this time the traps (or just one) are in public for everyone to see...
thats an awesome idea...

i dont see why this has to be the last though... the previous Saw still made almost 65mil on an 11mil budget... and the one before that over 100mil. thats pretty amazing.

are they really that scared of paranormal activity that they dont think the movie will make at least 30mil?

its a shame they'll be rushing to close up the story (just when i started to like hoffman) and not go to Saw9... and this will unfortunatly have to end with a gimmicky 3D film.

im watchin it in 2d

I wonder if they'll keep the trend of each Saw being worse than the one before it?

Hahaha, it's in 3D? Are they gonna spray blood on you and stuff, because that would be cool.

Its looks like Chester Bennington from Linkin Park in the car. The traps look cool I thought six was an improvement but they should give it a rest for a while after this.
I know we will see another Saw film down the road but they should give us a decent conclusion from here.

Opening to saw 3d Revealed.

Spoilers

"Opening where the first Saw left off, we see Cary Elwes as Dr. Gordon dragging himself along the floor, his foot gone. He makes his way to a heating pipe and, mustering the courage, presses his amputated wound against the heat, cauterizing it. As he screams, we fade away."

Dr. Gordon returning intrigues me. Don't know about the rest of the film, but I'm curious, no less.

Saw 5 was easily the worse film in the series. But I really enjoyed 6. It was a return to form. And one of the better sequels. I'm looking forward to 7 and seeing how they finally give this franchise a sense of closure.

Please do not request pirated material on the Hype.

Saw 3D has officially been pushed back to October 29th now instead of the 22nd.

They don't want to risk a repeat of what happened with the first Paranormal Activity since PA2 comes out on the 22nd. Guess I can understand their logic.

Agreed. Saw 5 was just terrible.

I think that PA2 is going to be a slightly more successful BlairWitch 2. Atleast I hope because I hated PA.

Considering how they pushed it back it won't be the last Saw. This will make its budget back due to the 3D price and we'll get another Saw.
