Which version of the character best lends itself to a film adaption?

Neither... 616 is more true to the character but is still way over the top. Ultimate is pretty much a total character re-write and would make sense.

If anything, Mr.Sinister should portray the classic verson of himself when he was Dr.Nathaniel Essex

Of course the 616 version is more true to the character, because he is the character... and, yes, I would prefer the original version of Sinister as the basis for interpretation rather than his Ultimate counterpart.

I don't want to know if it's not 616. One of my favourite characters out of all the 90s animated series'.

Be realistic here... although we love the 616 version of Mr.Sinister... could you honestly see a white faced red eyed, navey shiney blue and black wearing spandex goth like creepy scientists with a cape shreded but in neat lines...

Huh

Actually im sold, a creepy gothic villian... I suppose its all to how they pull of that look really.

Oh wow, think of it along the lines of heath ledgers joker... i eat my own words... 616 i can invision that sinister

The ultimate version looks so generic, it does nothing for me at all;
