I picked this comic up yesterday, the one with the classic Frazetta painting on the cover, on which it is based. Written by 30 Days of Night writer Steve Niles with interiors done by an artist named Francavilla (sp).
Anyway, I don't know what Image, Niles and the artist were thinking. This could have been an amazing graphic novel. Instead, they churn out a rushed looking piece of work, with barely a storyline. There are some panels that look great and others so piss-poor it's shameful.
I don't know what happened here. I was really looking forward to this , being a huge wolf man fan.
Any one else pick it up?
