Duck Tales Remastered

finally got it yesterday and really enjoyed it
really don't know what else people were expecting

as someone who grew up with the show and the nes game i really enjoyed it and felt it was well worth the money, the bosses were improved and looked great, i thought the voice acting was fine, young still sounds like scrooge to me, i'm more impressed that he can still do this in his 90's

the music remixes were great aswell, updated but still keeping that classic sound, having the 8bit soundtrack also available to be selected was a welcome surprise :)

Ducktales fan here since i was a kid in the 80s and i remembered getting the NES game for Xmas when i was 8 and loved it, one of my faves.

This remake is excellent too and quite faithful to the original game.

finally bought & played the game yesterday

loads of fun and is a HUGE upgrade over the NES version. the game is just as fun and it sort of feels like an episode/short film of Ducktales with the added storyline and character voices

i'm surprised by most of the reviews. i mean, what were they expecting? they all complain about the game being too simplistic, short, etc., but it's a remake of the original NES game!

i hope sales do well enough so we can get more Disney HD remakes in the future

I just DL the demo from XBLA, but for some reason, it wont let me purchase it. I think something is wrong with the xbox servers right now?

Anyways, from what I played of the demo, it felt really good. The controls were tight and responsive, and the game looked great. The demo was ridiculously short, though. Hope I get to play the full game soon. Looks and feels good, so far.

I don't know what's wrong with me, but I'm sucking at this game, I can't even get past the Amazon level

Alan Young, actor and voice-over artist, has passed away at the age of 96. Young was a well established actor starring in the TV series “Mr. Ed” and the film “The Time Machine.” Perhaps his most memorable role, however, was the voice of Scrooge McDuck on the beloved animated series Ducktales, which will receive an all new show next year on Disney XD. Ducktales received a NES game developed by Capcom, which is considered one of the better platformers on the system. The game got an HD remaster developed by Wayforward in 2013, and Young reprised his role as “Uncle Scrooge,” despite being in his early 90s. Young also voiced Scrooge McDuck in Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep and Disney Magical World. Wayforward sent out the following tweet on Young’s passing.

it was wonderful to hear Alan Young return as the voice of Scrooge Mcduck one last time before he passed. It made the game that more special.
