Ugh, Auto-Heal, pro-active augmentations.. guns-a-blazin'.
In the first Deus Ex , most of the augs were purely passive ones that increased your abilities as a character, not stuff that made you grow limbs and spider-walk across ceilings. And that was the fun of it. it was a careful blend of augs and skills, and that free-world-in-a-box feeling that really made it what it was.
I wont comment on DE2, but tbh, from what i've read i doubt they'll be sticking to the formula of the original.

The star of the original Deus Ex was the abundance of world wide and varied conspiracy theories, not the cyberpunk widgets.
