I deserved the MIP, but he could have informed us not to lie to him to dodge a Class B. People get nervous and don't think. Being personable and up front with people goes a long way. Cops that think they are God's gift to this planet and think they have unlimited power, which too many think, need to be slapped. Making people have good experiences with the police force is better than getting off with your power. Why do you think so many people hate cops? I respect them for their service but I don't respect them for their attitude. Too many d-bags are cops that were d-bags in high school, not all are like that so don't think of that as a blanket statement. His job is not to help you get out of trouble though, his job is to enforce the law. I dig that it would've been nice to know what was going to happen before you made a choice but... and I hate to sound like a *****e, you should've known better.
He was an ***hole, there are no two ways to it. I understand he was doing his job, but do you respect the auto shop that slips in extra services to make more money and puts it on the bill after it is done? Does anybody respect the insurance company that has things in fine print that they know you won't read? I don't sit at home and read the penal code to know that in Texas - "Up to a felony charge can be levied for promoting the use of, or owning more than six *****s."Its not a cops job to keep people out of trouble but that guy was an *******, and it has nothing to do with you telling the truth or not.
Yes, that has happened here. A sex shop clerk here was arrested and charged for having more than 6 *****s in the store that she didn't own, she only worked there. Now, the cops could have come in and said did you know that, take some down. No, they arrested her and it was an extremely big deal here. Those are d-bag cops.

That is being a *****e.
