Pretty soon, I should have another possible "splash" entry up. It's another one of my original character and it's a two-pager this time.

Plus, I might get some animated versions of my character up sometime...

Thanks, guys...and everyone else for the kind words. I don't think I mention enough how much I appreciate the encouragement I get around here.

I wish I had some stuff to post right now...the computer in our house (that has the scanner) is away getting fixed so i haven't been able to colour my most recent pieces.

But, for those of you keeping track, here's what I've got coming down the pike...
-I've got a few animated characters to put up...Big Bertha from the GLA, Daredevil and Wolverine in their Secret War get-ups, one of my character and, in response to the thrashing he takes in NA #16, I've got a animated Sasquatch to put up.
-Also, I've got a two-page spread of my character that I had planned on entering into this months contest but, now I may not get the time. It'll make it into this thread, regardless...

Actually and this is a weird request but Aquaman a poster her at the hype has created a character called Polar Bear Girl in the original characters thread (by the way DJ Captain Canada should be over there ) and i think it would look great in this animation style.

Mmmmmm. I would like to see Polar Bear Girl in your style Duker Jay. My art isn't as clean cut as yours, so it'd be nice to see what you can do with her.

And I have to say I really like your style, especially for Spider-man and the Astonishing X-Men.

I don't know who Infra-Man is...I might try the Hercules, eventually.

Yeah...I should plop my Captains Denmark and Canada in there, shouldn't I? Like always, I MIGHT try the Polar Bear Girl when I get some time or just get the sudden urge to do it.

I should reiterate that this isn't MY style...it's Steve Gordon's (the guy who did X-Men: Evolution) and I'm more or less just copying Ronnie Thunderbolt's idea of drawing characters that were never on the show but which we wanted to see in this style.

I have to say your stuff isn't exactly like Steve Gordon's. Which is a good thing. You've done a great job at using that style, but the faces you draw are a little different. I like it though.

Since I'm still unable to scan the new drawings in, I thought I'd play around with Photoshop, etc...this idea came to me somewhere in there...

It's that Civil War shot that McNiven did only it's done using characters drawn in the X-Men: Evolution style...most of these are off of Ronnie Thunderbolt's page and some were drawn by me.

Obviously, I didn't have one for everybody so, I guess it could still be considered a work-in-progress...although, I don't know if it'll every get done...

Yeah...I'm pretty sure half the people in the pic are standing on the person behind them...they're just all covered up...

Well...I was finally able to scan in the latest drawings I've done.

This is really sweet picture of the marvel hereoes!! I really like the way you draw Cyclops and Nick Fury! Very cool!

I didn't draw that Nick Fury...he's from Ronnie Thunderbolt (a poster over at Superbuddies.net) who has done just an insane amount of heroes (and villians). You should check his stuff out, for sure.

Really, only a half dozen of those are mine...and I only started with them because I loved what RT was doing and wanted to see some other guys he hadn't got to, yet.
