So...I've got a few more Ultimates to put up.

Here's Hulk:

I've got one more ready to colour...it's Hank Pym as Giant Man...and that'll be it until the fall.

Surprisingly...I did one more. This one was done somewhat differently than my other ones. This was drawn completely in the computer, without drawing it with pen and paper, then scanning it and colouring it.

I basically drew over Ronnie Thunderbolts' Wasp in Photoshop.

That Sam Wilson is done by a guy who goes by Ronnie Thunderbolts on Superbuddies.net. It's his Captain America and Sam Wilson. (I agree, it's pretty kickass.)

I'm out of the country, right now...and I haven't really been home for the last three months so I've lost track of a lot of these threads and the boards I used to visit daily. Imagine my surprise when I found my thread bumped up.

Again, I appreciate all the kind words. I don't know how many more of these I'll do...I've committed myself to working full time on the comic for my original character (Holger Danske) in the fall so I might have to put the animated characters on the back burner. But, I promise you this...you will see some custom toys up here in a few months...including one of my afforementioned original character...all in the Marvel Legends style.

Anyways, for anyone craving more of the Evo-style characters, I urge to check out Ronnie Thunderbolt's thread at Superbuddies.net (hope it's not against the rules to mention that) because he's got an overwhelming number of characters completed (including Wolverine in his tan costume and Deadpool, I believe). It's not hard to find, his thread is 'stickied' at the top of the Artist Alley page.

So...I, uh, recently started customizing action figures...like, last week.

Anyway, I thought I'd put a couple pics of some works-in-progress...

First up, in memoriam, we have Bill Foster AKA Goliath...

And, also...I'm working on a Beast a la Astonishing X-Men...

There's a few others (an Astonishing-style Cyclops, for example) but I don't have pictures and I don't really feel like taking any, right now.

O.K. I picked up some paint and put on a few base coats for Beast. It's not done, yet...it'll get some wash/dry-brushing and I'll make sure there's no rub on the joints. Plus, that yellow is gonna change slightly.

Just so everyone realizes, it's not really the colour it shows in the picture. The blue looks like it actually does in the comics. I guess the flash is changing it a bit.

Anyways, just thought I'd show everyone an update, in case anyone's interested..

So, I've been working full-time on my comic (Holger Danske), trying to get at least the first issue all done before I'm gone for the summer. The pencils are coming slowly-but-surely but here's the cover art (at least the first pass of it) for issue #1.

I'll put a couple up...one's bigger for looking at details, the other is smaller so you can see the overall look.
