Dukerjay's Art Thread

Good work. Do you have story ideas of your own? If a person is really sincere and applies him/her self, a good school helps, but it doesn't really matter. A person truly determined and putting the necessary WORK to learn a craft or understand a discipline WILL ALWAYS FIND A WAY.

Well...since you asked.

My cousin and I are in the process of writing a comic book arc for a character we've created. It's based off an old Danish legend and I think the story's a winner.

We're still writing it (it will be a six issue arc) and when I get a good chunk of time, I'm going to start drawing it. I've also got to finalize the character designs and all that.

I don't know that it's going to make us rich and famous but it's been fun so far and I'm pretty sure we'll be proud of the results.

I did some Spider-Man drawings in the X-Men: Evolution style. I know Ronnie Thunderbolt has some on his page but he was just a little too small for my own personal liking.

I've got three so far...

The first appearance Spider-Man:

The current costume:

And the new "Iron Spider" design, which I will go on record as saying I like, if only for the reason that I know it's not going to last longer than the Civil War story and seems to have a purpose, storywise. Actually, I think the design is pretty cool, too:

Well, I'll probably do one with them on...later, when we find out exactly how they work...what they are.

O.K. One more before I go to bed.

Another one in the Spider-Man vein, here's Ben Reilly in costume:

Hopefully, I can get all his alternates done eventually.

I want the bombastic bag-man, dusk, prodigy, ricochette (unsure spelling), and officer parker from Earth X.
Long list, huh?
sorry.:D

I felt compelled to do a Spider-Man 2099 after reading the latest issue of Exiles:

I've got a Scarlet Spider that I'll probably have up later tonight.

whoa i didn't know the orignal color for spiderman was red and black..

great work as always

I know you guys hated the show but do you plan to do the Spider-Man Unlimited costume?

Great spideys ben reilly's spidey costume is bar none the best variant ever!

Yeah, I suppose one could make a case either way. I've always thought that it was red and black to start. Once they changed the colouring process, the black shifted to blue.

Remember when the webbing under his armpits used to stretch all the way from his waist to his wrists :D
That was Hilarious!! Did he use it to glide or something?!

So, of course I had to do the symbiote costume. Here it is:

And, I also came across this one on a website and I went and read the issue it comes from. It's tough to get a definitive idea of the design but I tried. It's Spidey's second insulated suit for fighting Electro:

It really doesn't look as cool as I thought it was going to...oh well.

Will you please do the other Iron Spidy costume? Y'know, the one that was in the last 2 episodes of the 90's animated series? the " multi-billionaire" from another reality? he was cool!!
