Dumb & Dumber 2-Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels Return

OH. MY. GOD. :wow::wow:

This is now, seriously... in the Top 10 movies I've ever been excited for in my life.

Man, this **** came out my sophomore year. The next week people were always in class doing that "you know what the most annoying sound in the world is" gag.

This is seriously the one comedy I need right now. I'm so sick of this Hangover/Judd Apatow stuff. The only guys in that entire group I like are Paul Rudd and Jason Segal (luckily, they did I Love You Man together). Everyone else has outstayed my welcome by about 5 years. Just my opinion.

I need this movie. I think the Comedy genre needs this movie. I'm dead serious.

The comedy genre needed this movie about 15 years ago. I think it's too late for a direct sequel. Same with Ghostbusters.

I would not be too shocked if the trailer started with clips from the first movie only to say "20 years later"

I can't wait for this, I have a good feeling it's going to be awesome.

This is one of my most anticipated films for next year as well.

That is a trip how much they look the same as they did back then.

No they look older.

Paler and more sickly looking

Who let the Debbie Downers in here? :o

We're the 99%! :argh:

Look, I don't like it when people incessantly **** on stuff with no indication one way or the other, but I really think it's been too long since the first one for this to not be lame.

I will see how this turns out. Farrely's have been on a suck streak and you can tell Carey came back because his career is in the toilet as this has been rumored for years.

I think we're suffering from Crystal Skull /Phantom Menace / Spider-Man 3 Syndrome. Those movies destroyed us and turned us into putty. We fold our arms at everything now and say, "We'll just see about this."

I have faith in this. :hrt:

I will see it, because I am excited to see Daniels and Carrey returning to their roles. However, as some have mentioned, the careers of the directing team has taken an unfortunate downward turn, in terms of quality....

I also agree with the Farrelly brothers opinion. As much as I love the original and am excited for this, I can't help but to think about that. But hey, weirder things have happened.

And Carrey....

I disagree. Yes Man was funny. Mr Poppers Penguins was a funny good kids movie, he was great in Burt Wonderstone even if the movie sucked and he was really great in Kick Ass 2

Yeah, this is one of the movies I've been waiting my entire life. I don't know how it's going to turn out, but damn I can't believe we're getting a sequel 20 years later, with the same writing/directing team. And many of the actors too.

I know the people behind any movie usually try to sell what they're doing, but there's a genuine concern from Jeff Daniels and the Farrelly Bros to let us know this is not a cash grab, that they actually have a good script that was worthy of having Jim Carrey doing a sequel again -something he said he wasn't gonna do after Ace Ventura: When Nature Calls-.

On top of that, they have the exact same outfits and looks, the fact that they are taking a road trip again,... I don't know, if you take all that into account, it's the best possible scenario for a sequel. It's pretty difficult to not get excited for this.

Billy the Blind Kid from the first film, 20 years later:
