Honestly you're so right, personally I'm tired of today's type of comedy and if this does get even half of what was amazing about the original right, then I'll be happy.

Yep. It does seem like they're doing this properly.

I remember first seeing the original as a new release VHS, watching it with the Mask and I think Ace Ventura. Carrey had an amazing run in the 90s.

I would say a great '94 other than those 3 films I think Carrey is very hit or miss and most if his movie I don't like. I love dumb & dumber my whole family can pretty much remake it shot for shot we know it so much.

I'm still very torn on this movie the Farrely Bros have 2 good movies and odds are this won't be the 3rd.
