I wouldnt call jim carrey washed up but somehow the comedic world has passed him by while hes been making his family films since dick and jane. I think he did solid work however last year with kickass 2 and burt wonderstone. This film should have been done along time ago though.

I dont see jim revivng the ace character though, he doesnt have that facial expression needed for the character anymore.

Well, comedic actors usually have a peak and then they slowly fade away, unless they get some sort of career revival with dramatic roles. Jim Carrey certainly hasn't made the best choices recently, but I think if he wanted to, he could stay on top of the game. He has what it takes.

I love both of the Ace films. Just thinking about it now, a third could be interesting. Picking up years and years after Nature Calls perhaps with Ace out of work and washed out.

But seriously, I'm an unabashed fan of both Ace films but I feel like that's one franchise that is probably better left alone. I think there's a lot more inherent humor to picking up with Harry and Lloyd 20 years later because it'll be hilarious to see how they haven't changed one bit, but I feel like people would tend to groan to see Jim Carrey in his 50s as Ace spitting out all the same ol' catchphrases again and talking out of his butt. I mean I'd see it, but it would probably be more of a guilty pleasure. Whereas with Dumb and Dumber To, I'm really hoping it's a great comedy that never gets old just like the original.

I would love to see him return to the Ace Ventura character....but it's wishful thinking. It's just like Mike Myers and Wayne's World/Austin Powers. Would love to see him return to those characters at some point....but i doubt it happens.

With Wayne's World, it such a early 90's character that it's just very unique to that time period. That hair band era that will never make a come back unless it's satiral-ish like The Darkness.

It's a great poster in theory, and the fact that it actually exists blows my mind so that = awesome.

But why is the Fotochops so bad on Jim Carrey. Like not even just his face, but his whole body looks CGI or badly distorted. Oh and yeah, his face look's really weird, not really funny either, just weird.

The composition of Jim is off. It feels like he's superimposed there, while Jeff looks more natural.
