i enjoyed reading the book alot.
i haven't read the sequels yet.

i hope villeneuve edits Dune part 1 and Dune part 2 into one long-ass movie, because it's meant to be one complete story.

give me that villeneuve 5-6 hour cut.

Just came out. This was capital E Epic.

There were a few beats where it dragged for me but this movie really delivered on the promise of the first movie. Villaneuve is one of the greatest directors of our time.

My showing is Thursday at 4. Very pumped. I am not surprised by the reviews. First film was excellent. Saw no reason not to expect it here as well. Hopefully this makes huge bank and we can get Dune Messiah! Of all the movies based on books I was hoping I would see, Dune Messiah is probably the top one.
