Sci-Fi Dune

Okay, saw it on Imax. Glad I did, though might not have been the best idea going with a proto headache. The volume was a bit much in parts.
After my experience with Oppenheimer I think I'm done with IMAX, the only IMAX option I have always turns up the audio way too loud and with Oppenheimer they turned it up to the point where they could actually cause physical harm, as visually fantastic as the format is I think I'll settle for the standard theater experience.

I love a “we won’t spoil that here”, when just saying that she’s in the movie when we didn’t already know that is a bit of a spoiler.

I actually had this spoiled for me on Letterboxd of all places because she was listed in the cast but they've since taken the listing out due to it being a spoiler. Personally I'm happy that she's going to be in it because I like ATJ but at the same time part of me feels like it's stunt casting, especially since I believe the character is still supposed to be a child at this point in the story. Did Denis just do that in case of the unlikely event that Part 3 doesn't happen?

Well…

Even with it spoiled, there's so much imagination that lends it self to whatever they could be doing.
Is she voicing a cgi baby-thing that looks like Renesmee?

Is she acting and they're morphing her into an adult-baby hybrid?

Are they simply growing Alia into a young adult and playing into into Anna's youthful looks?

I've been reading these reactions for 50 minutes and it feels like the grandiose adjectives are never-ending. The only middling review (out of about a hundred that I've seen) is from David Ehrlich, who didn't offer any details and hated the first film. As you said, this was to be expected, but it's still fun to read these.
Scott Mendelson was passive to it... I don't get him.

Ehrlich's not bad as a Blank Check guest but his reviews are usually trash.

I'm assuming it's option 3.

All these reactions are giving me life.
I dont want it to sound like an exaggeration but, i truly feel we are in for a once in a lifetime movie.

Doubt it.

We likely would have heard of her casting much, much earlier if she actually showed up on set. Most likely, this is a voice work job for Joy. Legendary and WB would actually likely want to keep her for Messiah, but that is a long time away, so who knows

Or she could have been greenscreened in later. Whichever the case, just as long as we don't get this:
