DuVernay's When They See Us (Netflix)

Now as I look at this and have read up on the case I do think the police acted wrong with these boys but at the same time I don't think they were that innocent as they are trying to portray them. While I don't believe they raped that woman I do believe they had some involvement.

Anybody that actually looked over that evidence and thinks those boys had anything to do with that is basura

But if you read about the case these boys had scratches and on them that made it look like they were apart of this. They may not have raped the woman but they may have been apart of it. I am not saying the police were right in what they did. In fact they were wrong in how they handled thing but in reading on everything it didn't paint them in the most perfect light either.
Scratches yet none of their DNA is present in the crime scene nor the victim. The only DNA found under her finger nail was that on the guy who confessed.

You can speculate all you want. "They may have been involved...."

Sounds like reasonable doubt to me bub. You dont convict people off speculation. I'm really at lost to how the jury found them guilty to begin with. Not factual physical evidence to link them whatsoever. And everytime they poked holes in their theory they came with excuses. Oh she was hit the head but they were on top of her so they wouldn't get blood on her... on there was a sixth guy tho only set of footprints were found.

Once again I will say do I believe that the guys raped her? No, but I do believe they were there and saw what happened or may have been involved in some way. That's all I am saying. The accuser said there was more than one person that helped and still holds firm to that statement.

Please stop with your trolling. I'm beginning to think you're related to Linda Fairstein.

I am not trolling second off I do I do take offense to what you're implying by me being related to Linda Fairstein considering I am an African-American male. All because I am black doesn't mean I have to agree with everything going on. I think these guys were treated very unfairly and I also think really because of how the police handled the integration this case should've never made it to trail. However I will stand by my opinion. Now if you don't like it then block me or tell people to stop quoting me and I won't respond. But all because I don't think these men ar completely innocent doesn't mean I am trolling it's just me stating my opinion.

There were plenty of people in that park that night. And those kids weren't in the part of the park when looking at the timeline. Someone admitted to the crime. The victim didn't even remember what happened.

So, I don't know how you could even conclude that these five kids were involved.

Ava DuVernay did a fantastic job on this. That last episode should win something.
Yet, she’s not fit for New Gods, apparently. Quick question: what do certain fans know about directing? I want to know that.

I've seen plenty people say that because the teens in were in the park that night that they were involved. I'm guessing none of these people have been to Central Park because it is pretty big. It isn't exactly hard to believe that someone could of been attacked and raped at night in a part of the park without being see. This was back in the late eighties before CCTV and cell phones were everywhere. People didn't go out much to places like Central Park after dark back then either because of New York's insanely high crime rate.

It makes zero sense that they would be involved.

Why would 5 teenagers randomly help a serial rapist attack a stranger?

If the teenagers knew what happened then why would they not tell the cops after hours of interrogation?

Why could they not get the location of the attack right or describe what the woman was wearing correctly?

Considering how badly the woman was assaulted it would of been near impossible for none of her DNA or clothing fibers/hair to end up on the teens and visa versa.

The media and prosecutors tried to paint the central park five as a gang but actually only two of them even knew each other.

There has long been a clear media bias against the five since the news first broke that sadly way too many people continue to buy into.

Finished this last night. The writing, direction, music, and acting were incredible, especially Jharrel Jerome! Hope this gets some awards!

They were definitely innocent.
