One can only assume what that last easter egg really means LMAO. :oldrazz:
I hope it's the footage they showed at comic con of the actors giving all the wrong lines

As for the crash landing deleted scene , i hope it's an extended version and/or an alternate version of how Clark lands back on earth from his POV as opposed to the version we've seen the in movie from's Ma Kent's POV

They sound really good, cant wait to see them on December 4th

^ It sounds like that scene will be in the sequel.
You know i've defended Singer for a lot but this isn't something i can defend. The sequence should never have been cut from the theatrical release in the first place and it has to be on the dvd, has to be.:cmad:

And i want an extended cut of the movie, Singer's original cut on dvd too.

^Well i personally think it is WB that are making Singer put it in the sequel to save some money on it, and to not waste a scene that cost $10 mil

It seems like they are going to use it as a flashback in the sequel and maybe ad to it. Might help explain a villian being brought back or what not. I still want to see it now rather than later, but if they are saving it, it actually makes sense.

The fact that it cost 10 million is reason enough to keep it in SR not save it for the sequel.:( I don't think i've ever heard of a situation quite like this before.

Well i think it makes a lot of sense. I mean i am dissapointed we will have to wait that long to see it, but it will lower the budget of the sequel for one, as they have already spent the money, plus it will add to the story and make it a proper sequel IMO by keeping continuity with SR. I also think the plot with Lex being responsible for Superman leaving will make it into the sequel as well.

Didn't they reuse scenes from Superman 1 for Superman 2
I could've sworn i read something like that.

And at least you can be happy about one thing. That's 10 million dollars less spent on the sequel and probably spent in some awesome CG fight sequence :woot: ............hopefully...... :csad:

I think they reused the trademark flyby at the end.Not sure about the rest though.

The thing with SR is that Return to Krypton scene has never been used so it cant be categorized as 'reused'.No body outside the crew has seen this thing.

Yeah thats one (small) positive.:(

Yeah, also the sequel can make more profit because the budget will be less than it was for SR.

They reused an opening shot of the daily planet, the plate flying around the rok mountain in the desert minus superman (in STM it was the last shot before superman flies aroudn the mountain before seeing Lois's car swallowed up, and in S2, it is the shot foing around it before we see the two country bumpkin sherrifs car. There are a few other shots.

Singer used shots from X1 in X2, mostly static stuff like shots of the mansion, so he's done it before.

The fact that it's connected to the "X-Ray Vision" scene makes me believe it's part of the extended flashback with Young Clark (with the discovery of the baby ship).

Maybe, but i still think the flashback scene would come AFTER the RTK scene in the uncut version.
