Superman Returns DVD Deleted Scenes

Well, that's nice. Guess we'll have to wait for the sequel to see the ''infamous Krypton footage'' but that's fine, as long as it works with the story.

1. if this is in the sequel it will be pushed inside the movie so that they can sleep at night because they cut out a 10 milion scene.
2. and if this scene is not in the sequel.? i guess then we will wait for the third movie?

yeah right. i didnt even read that they will use this in the sequel.and even if someone would confirm this i still wouldnt belive this. if you think about how much did singer promised us in this movie......my head is starting to hurt. this is to soon to confirm if it will be in the sequel.

it is bull....hit

Erm, i dont remember him using any shots of X1 in X2, i think you may be mistaken here buddy.

Singer did. If I'm not mistaken the Mansion exterior shot of The Xavier's School for the Gifted sign was stock footage from X1.

If they are saving it for a sequel that will knock off 10 million that they may have otherwise spent. Still... I don't think you cut something that important from the debut return of the greatest superhero of all time :o

What??? No return to the daily planet/ changing in the closet scene???? WTF??

I'm confused as to how they would use it in the sequel...where could that apply....even for flashback purposes...hell, it would've been an awesome flashback in SR!

why are a lot of people saying that if they use the krypton scene that then they will save 10 milions? who the f... even said that in the sequel there will be a krypton scene? if the krypton scene was meant for SR than it would not be showed in the sequel which means that they will use this scene now because they didnt in SR which means that they will writte the story so ....that the scene will make sense which means that they will change something.

its not like they had a script with a 210 milion budget and now it will be 200 milions because they already filmed the krypton scene.

oh the return to krypton's not on the dvd? why? It'd have been cool.

You all saying it'll be in the sequel are not giving sufficient evidence to back up those claims so I can't believe that will be the case.

Remember what singer said about him wanting to put it in a Imax version or something like that? That's probably true. So he's saving it, probably for a special edition extended cut release.

It said in this months Total Film that Singer may use the RTK scene in the sequel, and i believe Singer mentioned the same thing at comic con, though i may be mistaken with that one.

I think it will be the opening scene in the sequel, with either extra footage shot to show a Kryptonian villain or it will be a nightmare Supes has.

Noooooooooooooooo get over Krypton already, superman...

We need to remember everything that we know to be missing and compare it to the deleted ones we're getting so that we can get some finality over this.

And why hasn't the SR script found its way online yet? Same for X-Men:TLS?

I'm not gonna buy this DVD if the Krypton scene is missing.
Me neither. If we aren't going to get an extended version, we should at least get to see them as deleted scenes. I think this is a really bad call on Singer's part.

waa waa waa waa waa...

big deal if it doesn't have the krypton scene in it... Singer said he's saving that for the sequel.

Show me a link.

it was discussed at the last comic con convention he was at... ask around, and you can find an easily find audio link to it.

I'm still not buying this peice of **** until we get an EXTENDED cut of the movie.

I thought he said he was saving it for a second theater release (like that is going to happen) or a future IMAX release (again, like that is going to happen).

For someone who complains about the suit as much as you do, this post is HIGHLY suspect.

I remember Singer proposing it that it was going to be used in a 3D theater release later down the line, I can't fully remember him saying the sequel though?

You know what is so funny about Singer. How many films get re-released in theaters in the last 10 years? Barely any unless they have made a gazillion dollars. The last ones I can remember are Sony re-releasing Spiderman 1 with MIB 2, and Gladiator before the oscars. 1 or 2 after they won an Oscar, and a few that the studios were pushing for an oscar nod. This would never qualify as that. And he thinks that theaters will release it again. God is getting too dilusional, or doing too much coke lately.

You see thats what I heard. I have heard absolutely zero about hiim using it for a sequel. I could very well be wrong though, so if someone points out where he says this, that would be great.

Singer also said in an interview (can't remember which one) that the RTK sequence is such an 'epic' scene that to simply put it on DVD as a DELETED SCENE would'nt do it justice. He said that the first time it should be seen is on the big screen preferably in an IMAX re-release down the line.

Again, can't member' the source so take w/ grain of salt, I guess.

The guy said he wasn't going to buy it because it wouldn't have the "Return to Krypton" scene as a deleted scene...

I hate the suit, yet I saw the movie 10 times in the theather, and will be buying the 1 disc widescreen version, the 2 disc special edition version, AND the Ultimate Superman Collection when they comes out... regardless of what the suit looks like in the movie.

didn't you hear what Singer said at the second appearance at SDCC?... he said that it is his director's cut. What you see is what you get...

of course I think he said that before he cut out some of the stuff...
