Superman Returns DVD Deleted Scenes

I'm looking forward to seeing this DVD, but getting frustrated on when I can reserve my copy of it and the Ultimate Superman Collection. WE know it will be released on Nov 28, but why can't we reserved it now?

No one knows that for sure. When or if it will be on dvd or IMAX or both.

The scene is already finished with FX, score and is about 6/7 minutes long according to Singer.

That means it's at least 20 minutes long...:o

i dont think that he is a dumbass. but he has obviously some problems. what problems i dont know. he was there when they wrotte the script. he was there when they build the sets and the suit. he was there when they filmed the scenes. he was there when they scored the music and made the effects. and then in the editing room he says that it doesnt belong in the movie? this just can not be the truth. dont tell me that a director like singer has to first finish a scene to see if it belongs in the movie. thats bull....it.

Believe it or not that is how it usually works. You never truly know if a scene is going to work until you cut the film together. Why do you think editing is so important?

Of course there are situations where that is the case, but to cut this scene that late in the game and open with a whole different beginning and leave sequences like Kitty and Superman flying to the hospital and Clark putting his suitcases in the closet doesn't make sense to me.

And dogs licking dead people`s fingers, eating other dogs....

THe more i read about this movie, the more i hate it. He ****ed up everything.

Those scenes worked. Opening up the film with a 6 min scene that just slows down the opening of the film and really has little to do with the overall plot isn't exactly smart.

What was that, 3 seconds? It was in the middle of Lex's speech. The scene and the time it took up would of been there whether the dogs were or not. Though it did show the amount of time that had passed since Lex went on his journey. It took so long the Dogs needed to feed in someway.

If your idea of him f'ing everythng up is this and a comical scene involving a closet I don't know how you sit through any film.

the scene where you see clark putting hes suitcases in the closet was making more sense than the original opening and teh krypton scene? :wow:

I wish they'd put ALL of the deleted scenes into the DVD. Saving them for the sequal is utter bull****.

The RTK scene was 6/7 mins long right? So how would cutting a 15/20 second scene of Clark putting his suitcases in a room, or about two other scene's of the same length, make room for that?
