I was going to post that, but that source seems pretty iffy to me. Several of their stories have no real source and are just kind of 'Hey, I heard this straight from the company*wink, wink*'.

Could still happen though, I just don't fully trust that source lol.

God of War, Devil May Cry, Ninja Gaiden clones are games I never get tired of. More of them please

Yeah, MM9 seemed a little too retro to me. You can preserve the classic gameplay while updating the rest of the package. A 3D side-scrolling Mega Man game would be cool.
they kind of did that though with MMX8 and it wasnt recieved too well. But then again that game had other issues as well. Oh I just remembered that Capcom remade both MM1 and MMX1 for the PSP with 3D graphics. Both worked out well and were pretty good titles. Those are samples of what they could do with a brand new title if they actually put the effort into giving MMX a proper sequel

I personally thought bringing it back to its 8-bit roots was a stroke of genius.

But I grew up playing 1-6 and I really didn't like 7 or 8 near as much as the previous iterations...so I guess I'm slightly biased
I didnt care much for MM7 but MM8 was a good game. The game looked absolutely gorgeous back when it was released for the PS1. I really wish they had gone with an updated HD model of that game's art style rather than the NES games.

Well, looks like High Voltage simply couldn't wait until E3 to unveil their new title:

Conduit developers High Voltage mustn't have got the memo. E3 is next week, not this week. Regardless, they've chosen today to announce their latest project, Gladiator AD.

Described as a "hybrid between 3D Fighting games like Bushido Blade and Boxing games like Fight Night", Gladiator is a 1v1 fighting game set in ancient Rome, where you - as a gladiator, duh - have to punch, kick, slice and dice your way up the gladiatorial food chain.

Like the Conduit, Gladiator looks amazing for a Wii game, and will also be fully supporting the new Wii MotionPlus accessory, with the angle of your blade during an attack determining where it strikes an opponent and what kind of damage it does.

The line about Bushido Blade being an influence intrigues me.

I love the Bushido Blade games.

Majesco is bending the very fabric of space to bring us Flip's Twisted World, an upside-down platformer for the Nintendo Wii, which they'll be showing off next week at E3 2009.

While games that allow players to turn the world on end are far from a dime a dozen, level-twisting is a gimmick that's been on the rise over the past few years, and now Majesco is taking a stab at it with Flip's Twisted World. Magician's apprentice Flip messes with the wrong magical artifact, getting sucked into an oddly cubed world. In order to escape, he'll have to turn the world, 90 degrees at a time, in order to find the find his way home and possibly stop the destruction of the universe.

At the very least, it's a new platforming IP with a relatively innovative gameplay mechanic, colorful characters, and the musical stylings of famed video game composer Tommy Tallarico. For more than that, check back with us during E3.

Sounds interesting

Interesting premise for a platformer, and screens look ok. I doubt they do it as well as Super Mario Galaxy. (I am disturbingly in love with that game. :O )

Apparently High Voltage is quite busy working on the Wii. I guess they decided not to announce their two projects are E3

The Conduit developer High Voltage Software has announced another new Wii game, and, like Gladiator A.D., it's a brutally violent game designed to attract the bloodthirsty "hardcore gamer." The Grinder is an online co-op FPS starring "a sort of the cryptobiological A-Team," in the words of High Voltage's Eric Nofsinger, who goes on to refer to "a team of freelance hunters that ruthlessly exterminate savage armies of bloodthirsty monsters."

The FPS shows a clear (and acknowledged) Left 4 Dead influence, with each member of the team different in skills and personality. The game differs from L4D in that instead of just zombies, your team fights werewolves, vampires and all manner of other mythical shootables.

Highlights on the list include Q3 (November 2009 to December2009) releases for Assassin's Creed 2, which Ubi prez Yves Guillemot says will cost 20 percent more than the original and be a much bigger game; the long-delayed Splinter Cell: Conviction; the MotionPlus-only Red Steel 2; Wii-exclusive Shaun White Snowboarding: World Stage and Rabbids Go Home.

Announced for early 2010 (Q4 ranging from January 2010 to March 2010) are strategy title R.U.S.E., survival game I Am Alive and a new Ghost Recon.

Notably absent from the list is the previously-teased Beyond Good & Evil 2.

MotionPlus requirement for Red Steel 2 = 1:1 swordfighting, maybe? I'll have to keep an eye out for news on that.

Sucks about BG&E2's absence. Maybe they're saving it as a surprise, though. I hope.

Ubisoft has already said the Wiimotion+ is being used to make the sword fights more accurate and 1:1. Plus unlike the first game, you can pull out the sword and use it anytime you want...not only when they say like the first game.

What about GH: Van Halen....I was hoping for some video or at least the set list announced for it. :(

Damn that Wiimotion+ sounds tight! May actually make the Wii more playable.

I saw a Screen shout from MUA2 showing Wolverine Reflecting storms lightning off his claws and just went Huh?
