E3 2009

Oh man I am REALLY craving a good ninja game.

I know NG II came out last year and NG Sigma II is coming this fall, but I'd love to see a new Ninja Gaiden/Strider/Shinobi be announced.

MAKE IT HAPPEN TECMO/SEGA!

I'm hoping we'll see Star Wars: Battlefront III confirmed. Why does Lucasarts keep making those dumb PSP exclusive games? BF3 = Big money.

I also want to see if Ravensoft is doing the Deadpool game, that they want to do.

Anyone looking forward to MVC2 (Marvel vs Capcom 2) port for the 360 and PS3?

I know I am. :)

I am. Maybe we'll see MVC3 confirmation!

I also want to see a Mario or Zelda game. My Wii is literally dusty, no kidding. No one ever touches it.

So I just watched Gametrailers TV's E3 preview...and I can't begin to express just how much I hate "special celebrity guests". They obviously couldn't give two ****s about the game they're talking about. Or games in general. We couldn't give two ****s about them. So I ask you; what's the point? "Ooh...Rose McGowen is talking about the game I was already interested in! Her half-assed teleprompter reading makes me want it even more now!" Ugh. It's all so asinine. I guess I should get used to it though. I'm sure I'll have to put up with a lot more of this ****wittery during the press conferences. :cmad:[/rant]

Anyway, Mass Effect 2 looks awesome. No surprise there. They showed Bethesda/Splash Damage's game, Brink, which was kind of a surpise for me. The teaser didn't show much more than some dude's eye, but it left me intrigued and I definately want to see more. Also, Need for Speed Shift and Split/Second both looked pretty cool. I'm not much of a racing fan in general, so it feels strange to be interested in not one, but two racing games at the moment. Mario Kart notwithstanding, the last racing game I truely enjoyed before Burnout Paradise was Star Wars Episode I Racer.:woot:

New game announced for Wii!

I wonder how Sony will top using Little Big Planet for their fiscal presentation. That was very clever last year.

Yea, it was pretty neat the way they did that.

I'm thinking this year, they'll use porn.

Even better: Little Big Planet porn. "Now, if you'll compare our sales earnings, represented here by these Sackboys' massive, throbbing penises..."

"See the way that they are taking that Sackgirl from behind, it's very much like MS and Nintendo have been doing to us this year."

XSEED's E3 lineup

* Half-Minute Hero (PSP)
* Fragile: Farewell Ruins of the Moon (Wii)

XSeed is bringing some fantastic stuff to the Wii and DS.

I was secretly hoping they were going to surprise us by publishing "Retro Game Challenge 2."

I blame you all for not buying it. :cmad:

Of the games at E3...I am mostly excited for...Star Wars: The Clone Wars-Republic Heroes, Raiden IV, Marvel Superhero Squad and Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2. I am jealous though of...Wii owners getting an exclusive like...Tatsunoko Vs Capcom. Gatchaman vs Street Fighters would be...Epic.

Saw the preview to Marvel Alliance 2, looks awesome. Deadpool's get up looks awesome. Gonna keep my eye out for that one.

Also, this isn't directly related to E3, but we all know how EA decided to turn Dante's Inferno into game. Well, apparently they aren't stopping at simply that. Oh, no, they're adapting Thoreau's Walden;

Yep, you read that correctly. Henry David Thoreau's Walden is being made into a video game
