so anything good come out of square or capcom, i was hoping for news of kingdom hearts 3 or marvel vs capcom

Ive heard that this is a total rumor.....Capcom has a Vs. game coming out this year but its Capcom vs. Tatsunoko that has the characters from G-Force and other japanese cartoons from that company

The thing with Capcom Vs T. was that not all the rights were owned by the same company in America for all the characters on the T. side. It was never supposed to be released in the states, and Capcom was toying with the idea of taking the T. side characters out and replacing them with Marvel characters, but eventually scrapped the idea when they got all the rights lined up to bring Capcom Vs T. over to the states.

Something like that. However, with Marvel Vs Capcom 2 being on XBLA/PS3N soon, it's a pretty good sign that they're working on a MvC3.

I just saw it is Capcom seeing it as an opportunity to make some extra coin...I don't think it indicates anything

Stream of Square-enix's conference should start in about 10 minutes, for those that want to check it out. 3 new games are said to be shown (well, 2 cause of FFXIV) sometime during.

Since S/E isn't allowing cameras, this is your best bet for keeping up with what's going on in there.

Remade? I thought it was a straight port. I don't think those are too expensive, and it's not like Capcom is dumb; they know there's a big market out there aching to relive their childhood and play the game again. It was very profitable in arcades and on the Dreamcast. I'd love a MvC3, don't get me wrong, but I don't think porting MvC2 is cause to get too worked up for a new game.
