I think it was a pretty solid show, nothing showstopping but the One (now that Kinect is gone) looks way more appealing. Don't know if I'll get it this holiday, probably wait till next year when the library's gotten a bit more built up.

Best thing about Microsoft's press conference was that Dead Rising DLC. Sunset Overdrive seemed cool too.

Do you think it will be controlling just the humanoid character or the monsters as well?

I could see you being able to do both in some way. It seemed like the guy had control over the monster with him in the trailer.

so did they even mention Kinect at all?

Good show. Nothing mind-blowing but solid quality all the way through. Games are certainly looking a lot better than this time last year and this show was absolutely packed with games. What time does Sony's start? I need a break in between.

See you guys in about an hour for EA. Can't wait for some Star Wars and hopefully the new Mass Effect.

Well MS has made me decide to get an XBO sooner than I expected, probably not this year but soon

Good show. For me, personally, there wasn't a huge amount that interested me shown, but Scalebound guarantees that the Xbox One will be my next gen console of choice over the PS4. Platinum Games may not be a megaselling company for most, but MS got a sell from me.

Sony isn't until much later. Like 7 pm est, I think.

Nothing earth shattering, but damn good to see games games games. Games was the focus. That was great.

Cool, look forward to seeing more of it. Doesn't really look like a typical Xbox exclusive, which is a good thing.

Well, that was 110% better than last year. Well done Microsoft.
Last year they really F'd it up in the interviews straight after the show. The games really weren't that bad but people were waiting on important announcements which never came (and did come from Sony). This time they've probably been told to shut the F up.

I'm watching the post-show on Spike and its so weird to see Jack Tretton giving praise to Microsoft and their conference.

If my schedule is still correct, Sony is at 9 est. They usually run pretty long too.

I agree, except I remember being bored with the non-gaming stuff. There seemed to be alot of that last year. This year, there was zero of that. Literally every minute they had was about games. I don't think it's possible to squeeze in more games than Microsoft did this year. It was a very nice change of pace.

Yea I repeat what others have said. Nothing surprising in the show, but MS's focus has CLEARLY shifted with Phil at the helm. They couldn't of promoted a better guy for the future of their device.
