It may sound lazy on my part, but I just like not having too many systems hooked up to my TV. I have a Gamecube, and I still regularly play Gamecube titles, but having a first generation Wii, means I don't have to have it hooked up.

Haha never underestimate laziness. Thats primarily why i wanna go digital. I don't want to get up out my damn seat to swap discs hah.

Starting with EA UFC next month I'll be going digital full time,Only disc I have and will have for a while is AC IV,One of the big reasons is also due to laziness lol and tired of piling up cases then swapping discs

E3 is going to determine whether I get a PS4 or Xbox One.

I can't see MS dropping Kinect. Not yet and not as a 'selling point' at E3. Dropping Kinect by announcing it at E3 is admission of it's failure and will put MS right back where they were previously with the device. They aren't ready to do that. Plus there are features tied to that device that don't work without it. I could see a price cut, but they won't remove the device from the system. I'd be willing to bet on it.

Not only that but I think Microsoft either has contracts with the manufacturers over Kinect or a bunch of Kinects made to go along with the Xbox One and they need to get rid of them. Either way, before Microsoft makes a Kinect-less Xbox One, they need to fulfill that condition (either wait for the contract to end or run out of already made Kinects) before they just drop the mandatory requirement for it.

I've realized that no one really cares about my gaming collection, nor do we ever have anyone over.. At all.. that I can show off my nerdy collection, lol. I HATE dusting and the more games I have the more things I have to dust.. Also with the PS4 being so damn fast and having the ability to switch on the fly between games is golden to me.

Destiny will be my first digital only game.. Sony's opened the doors to allow us to download and install these games ahead of time.. Granted they're locked until 11:59 PM launch night but still..

That's all I really needed.. Plus add to the fact that some games on PSN seem to be 5-10 dollars cheaper digitally (Wolfenstien is 54.99 I believe as an example) it's really not that hard to push me into the digital camp. I already buy ALL of my 3DS games digitally.. figure I might as well do the same with the PS4.

I'd love to do it with the XB1 but I hate that you more or less.. Can't (You CAN but...HDD Limitations) Maybe that will change when they add the external storage option.. As long as they don't gimp that like they did on the 360.

Not ALL.. But some. Wolfenstien is just one example. My hope is more follow suit.

Yea that was an initial hangup of mine as well, but I shut the doors on my entertainment unit anytime people come over anyway, so im not really displaying anything. Plus like you stated, these consoles are so fast, I can walk into my room and tell my xbox what to play and the game is already up and running before my butt is even in my chair. I love that.

At the moment, the primary thing keeping me from going all digital is the fact you cant get some of these preorder bonuses. I wish Amazon would offer a digital version of Watchdogs so I could get their preorder bonus for the X1. Thats the only thing really keeping me with physical copies.

Yea theres no excuse for digital games to be the same price as retail. None.

I like that digital games have more pre-order bonuses now than almost all being gamestop exclusive,On PS3 it seemed that most digital pre order exclusives were things like dynamic themes and gamer pics

And if it really is Kratos once again, then I hope he lost his memory or just changes his ways. The character will need something more than rage for the next game. His motivation is gone with the end of Zeus and the Olympian gods.

This is true. It also applies to any new protagonist. Rage can't be the only motivator again.

Well GameStop doesnt technically sell digital(at least on the Xbox), they just give you the exact funds to purchase whatever you want, but still, I don't see why Amazon couldnt do something similar.
