EA Rumor-- Frank Miller's Batman

In the latest EGM there is a rumor that EA is gearing up a Batman game not related to BrokeBat Mountain; they tease that it may be based on Miller's Dark Knight.

Besides the Sims series, I usually stay away from EA products. They're usually nothing but shiny, glossed crap. I shudder everytime I think about Catwoman, and when was the last time we heard about Superman Returns?

I thought the BB game wasn't that bad, but EA isn't my favorite. Well EA Games, EA Sports rules.

BB was a terrible game. There was nothing to it at all. Walk over here and press this button. Crawl over and then press this button to throw a batarang perfectly to nock down a bunch of crap to get the bad guys. You never had to aim it, you never had to perform your own finishing moves. After games like Splinter Cell and Metal Gear, the stealth element came off awful.

He's talking about Brokeback Mountain, the movie about the two gay "cowboys". He made a pun out of this with BrokeBat Mountain.. which is referring to all the Batman/Robin movies and (I think) the movie with bat nipples.

But the guy's a great actor.

Yes.. but I still don't see how it could relate to Brokeback Mountain more than Batman and Robin.. mainly because in BB there's not two ambiguously gay-looking characters. I can't say the same for Batman/Robin.

I don't see the relation at all. Heath ledger is a good actor.. but I don't know if his personality fits with the Joker. That's my only problem with his casting. Brokeback Mountain has nothing to do with it?

Just ignore the people making 'em. Make up a better joke about something that is obviously apparent that they like.. and it'll shut them up pretty well, I'm guessing.

Properly done. EA is going to need to pull a turn around from their usual to get this one done right.

Also why I was pissed when EA bought out Mythic.
