EA Rumor-- Frank Miller's Batman

I just recently reread DKR, and it as a game would totally own.

If made by EA Montreal, instead of EALA or another incompetent interior team.

One thing I'd be worried about is the whole Bats riding a horse saving Gotham scene. I always thought that was stupid, for the game they should change it/ leave it out.

But it was so awesome in True Lies!

Realistically, the horse was kinda silly. But as a side minigame it might be fun, something you don't HAVE to do, but its there for the people who liked it.

Only on today's scale. If you adjust for inflation, it's a helluva lot more.

I don't count inflation. If I counted inflation, a guy with say five bucks in 1768 would probably be a millionaire nowadays, be he wasn't then, so what good does it do him now?

The facts remain that as it stands, Batman is beneath a few other comic flicks when it comes to total box office sucess (all marvel I might add).

Casablanca (as of 1/1/1942): $10,462,500

R.V. (as of 4/28/2006): $70,803,727

See why everyone in the industry does, in fact, adjust for inflation?

First off, there was no such thing as "bucks" in 1768. Second, nothing of what you just said made any sense. How would having five bucks nowadays make you a millionaire? You just said that having five bucks in 1768 might make you a millionaire, then said that he wasn't then. Isn't that a contradiction?

I'm not sure if you're being sarcastic or not, but it certainly made more than the first two.

X-MEN

X2:
X-MEN UNITED

Distributor: Fox Release Date: May 2, 2003
Genre: Action / Adventure Running Time: 2 hrs. 14 min.

X-MEN:
THE LAST STAND

Distributor: Fox Release Date: May 26, 2006
Genre: Action / Adventure Running Time: 1 hrs. 44 min.
MPAA Rating: PG-13 Production Budget: $210 million

And it was in theaters for 82 days, how is that bad?

Well of course, hell I even stood in line 5 hours for it. Look at it's following weeks though... for a movie with such a great opening it should've raked in at least 290-300. Check and see how much X2 dropped... no seriously I wanna know, I have no time to check and I gotta run to class.

You gotta be a member to see that stuff. And I'm not about to give them any of my money.

You don't think this game is wishful thinking do you? Because I really WISH it could be free roam...

I think you should compare Batman Begins with X-Men instead of The Last Stand, because Batman Begins is the beginning of the new francise as was X-Men. So I think The Dark Knight will make a lot more money then Batman Begins like X2 did more then X-Men.
The last Stand was also the end of a triology (maybe) and as you can see with The Lord of the Ring movies, the last part is always the most succesfull, so it is nonsence to compare BB and X-Men: TLS...

And I think X-Men: TLS was somehow dissapointed, I don't know why, because I should/ and want to love it, because I love Jean Grey, but somehow this movie didn't catch me like X2 (which is still my 2nd favoriet movie after Batman Begins)...

But this topic is about the game, so we should return to it!

I would like to see a game based on the regular comics, because then EA has more freesdom! If they would make a game based on The Dark Knight Returns, they must do it based on the story....

The ultimate Batman game would have a lot of fighting/violence, stealth, mystery +detetive work, amazing story, and a beeautifully designed Gotham City.

And the classic Batman villains, like Joker, Catwoman, Two-Face, Riddler, Poison Ivy, Scarecrow....

If I were doing a Batman game; I'd set it in the late fourties. No fancy technologies, just guns, gangsters, fast women in cat suits, clever detective puzzles, smoke bombs; black and white ass whoopings.

Villains including Penguin, Scarecrow, Joker, Two Face, mobsters, Catwoman, Bane, Ivy, and a vampire interpretation of the ManBat mirroring the Bloodstorm stories.

The Riddler could be a small time criminal-- he's still a gimmick.
