Have you seen A Guide To Recognizing Your Saints?

That was a perfect role for Shia.

Not familiar with his early work. If he has done something like that already then my mistake. It's just that you look at these young actors... a kid that was rising but apparently fell off the map was Haley Joel Osment. Never heard anything about him since A.I. The kid that starred in Home Alone also had some pretty messed up roles at a really young age. I'd like to see Shia paired with a big star in his next smaller featured film instead of being the star. Let's see how he holds up against a veteran actor. Indy 4 is a good start but still he is the type casted teen. I was thinking something more gritty and less campy.

Well if this is all the guy has got then its going to get tiring after a while. I liked him in Disturbia and Transformers... but he is just becoming the typical confused teen on the run with this roles. He's getting older. I want to see more range from the guy. Please give me something different Fall/Spring of 09. I don't know what he is doing after TF2... hopefully something different than this. I'll still watch this flick because it looks entertaining.

He wasn't confused or on the run in Disturbia and he wasn't on the run in Transformers and was only puzzled for the first half hour or so, In Eagle Eye he isn't playing a teen and the movie is nothing like the other 2. Also check out A Guide To Recognizing your Saints, it's not early work, he made it in late 2006.

I agree 100%. I think he looks much older and mature in this role then previous ones as well.

Did you like Guide to Recognizing Saints?

I loved Guide. Especially Robert Downey Jr. Wonderful actor.

And he is supposedly thirty-years old in this film.

I loved the film as well.

Good turns from Tatum, RDJ, Shia.....great film.

Saw the trailer for this with Indy 4. Looks VERY interesting.

Shia's a good actor. If Indy 4 had a good script and story and execution, I would have liked him more, I'm sure.

Shia didn't have a lot to do (besides the action scenes) in Indy. Honestly.

Yeah. That's pretty true.

Anyway, the trailer for this looks good. Shia looks the part in that.

awesome teaser. can't wait for this movie. does it have any competition in September?

I have Guide... :) And yes, it was a great film. RDJ and Shia were great.

Shia looked great in the trailer for this :D I hope this releases in September in Australia as well, since that's where I'll be when it comes out.

I finally watched trailer...looks amazing so far.

I can't wait for the actually film.

Teaser-trailer did indeed amaze me with all its unusual atmosphere, which is way constructive and unlimited to such unpredictable action as destruction of the whole roof of one building. I think this movie has great potential with its incredible universe

Shia is probably one of the better young actors. I've never gotten why so many have such disdain for him, other than that he's a hot up-and-coming budding star so it's "hip" to hate him.

yeah that's basically pretty much as you put it.

People all were saying his name out loud when he first showed up in Indy 4. What a cool and smooth entrance, i really like that guy and he's a very good actor as well.

I seen the trailer for this with the new Indy movie, looks interesting.

lol. I remember during the midnight showing, some guy near the front was yelling out something like, "He ain't no Keanu Reeves!" :p

The similarities to The Matrix are definitely there... :D

That's true, I also moticed that mobile phone ringing just like in The Matrix. As I remember it was office sequence, when Keanu failed to escape.
