How does one stick cut out text/images onto something else (other images) without it having a white background?

I’d appreciate it.

In MSpaint, I'm trying to write text on top of an image, but around the text is always a white background that covers the image.

Well. I'm only familiar with doing that in Photoshop, and to have an image without a background it has to be in .gif format.

edit: OoOoo. I dunno if Paint has an eraser tool but yea, I think that'd work.

Someone will have to help you, I am no good with image creation

Thanks, I got what I needed.

I always see this being done, it make sense it's being done in photoshop.

The same thing can be done with the selection tool:
paintxz1.jpg

paint2pl3.jpg

Drag the corners of the image. Look at the hulk image above. In each corner are square handles that you can click and drag.

Thanks Harlekin, that's exactly what I was wanting to do, I can't believe I never noticed that before. :o
