How do you feel about eating alone?

I see people in the cafeteria and I don't like eating alone there. I don't mind when I'm eating breakfast and there's hardly anyone there. But during lunch and dinner it feels weird.

I don't mind eating alone in a fastfood place like McDonald's or diner's or cafes. I wouldn't go to a restaurant alone though.

at school i usually eat for 5 minutes with people and then leave, because i cant stand them further.

i dont like going anywhere to eat alone , that would feel weird unless i was waiting to catch a flight or something. i could sit in a cafeteria but not have somebody wait on me.

Sometimes in between class, if I have a long break I'll go find a friend to go to lunch with. If not I just usually go to a bench and eat there. I usually eat breakfast by myself too because everyone is gone by that point. I don't ever eat dinner by myself.

It's ok as long as you're in the middle of the restaurant and there's a spotlight on you.

I'll go to Chick-fil-A or the mall food court alone, but never a sit down restaurant.

Well in my High School theres a area in front of the indoor chapel and I just sit there for like 5 min and eat my food by my self, then I wander off listening to my ipod down the halls.

I went to chilis the other day with my friends and next to us there was a guy eating alone and reading book. It's kind of sad. Seeing people at a restaurant just sitting there all alone. No one to talk too.

I think if you're reading something it looks less sad.

Heck I do that when I'm in Vegas, hardly know anyone and I like to unwind after a long day or night and read while I eat

Who cares? I eat alone sometimes, since I travel alot for work, and I don't want to eat fast food or some ****. Confidence, is eating alone and not giving a **** what others think.

It sucks, especially in college dining halls. Hence why I'd always get take out boxes.
Not to mention it pays off if you could fit enough food in it for multiple meals.

Eating's a necessity. And, sometimes you can't eat at home, and, sometimes, you don't have people to eat with. But you still have to eat. It all depends on where you want to do it at.

If I wanted to eat at a restaurant, but had no one to eat with, I'd still eat there.

I feel genuinely sad eating alone in a public place, a strange feeling that has lingered since school cafeteria days.

Well luckily, my lunch table/area is the "center of attention"

I don't know about eating, but I know that for some reason I don't like going to the movies alone. I think it's because I've never done it before.

Going to a movie alone is weird because there's no one to make funny comments to or talk about the movie after it on the way home.

I always eat alone particularly during break at work.

Although I've never eaten alone at a big restaurant, like Chilis or a buffet; but at a fast food place it doesn't matter because I'm usually done eating and out of there before you know it.

Eating alone is cool. It's no big deal to be in a rush to get some food in you and not want to socialize.

I drink alone sometimes too which is less cool.

I eat alone at work but that's because I have late breaks, I would never eat alone when I go out though.
