Eco friendly educational games, grass simulators currupting youth with fear

Eh i agree 100% with them. The whole "green" movement is a corporate farce. From the word go, someone was making money off the green movement and we are seeing the same thing here. They mention specifically Soy farming over other forms of energy out put which makes perfect sense as the Monsanto Corporation has a stranglehold on that entire industry(and people in high levels of govt backing them). They force independent farmers to grow their seeds or either be run out of business, the also unjustly sue family farms that try and compete. Talk about a nasty corporation.

Im not going to say they are fear mongering, but punishing the player if they dont "go green" is as clear a message as the green corporations can funnel.

the worst part about fox news is that my parents see an evil liberal agenda everywhere they look

How DARE there be video games not about killing people or pretending to be sports stars?! HOW DARE?!

Nice research there, Fox (as usual).

SimCity Societies is 4 years old; was a total non-entity when released in 2007 (thanks for the free advertising, Fox); and actually allowed you to pick and choose what sort of building "philosophy" you wanted for your city....yeah, you could go green all you wanted, but you could just as easily have gone nuclear or coal-fired and been a greedy capitalist all you wanted. It wasn't trying to force a green agenda down anybody's throat, any more than WoW forces people to choose one playing style.

Eh, why bother. Fox News + slow news day = something stupid and poorly researched getting blown out of proportion

Revenge of the Fox! Seriously, it's obvious that their bosses said make some quick sensational video game story right now and they did so after 5 minutes of research on Wiki. I'm not saying they're right or wrong on the subject. Just that this is an uber dated rush job.

They have to keep the fear and paranoia drummed up to keep IQ's low.

Goddamn liberal agenda is everywhere. In my cereal. In my milk. In my bathroom. In my videogames.

No, it's not paranoia. Fox News says it a'int, so it a'int.

I've never played Sim City Societies. But, does using a nuclear power plant in that game actually make everybody glow green, or was that McCormack projecting?

You can't win, either way. Gun or no gun, or sex or no sex...our youth is being tricked into creepy ****.

As long as there is extremely Liberal CNN and even more than extremely Liberal MSNBC... Yes.

Being more right leaning independent I'm happy there's a Fox news... But hey, anything NOT Liberal is stupid/wrong. Not saying that Fox can't be stupid at times but they have more of a target because they DO lean right.

Besides, it was on Fox & Friends which is no more "reporting" than Good Morning America.

This is one major reason why I hate politics...They creep their way into everything. If its not Chris Matthews calling GTA a murder sim its Fox complaing about a Mass Effect butt shot.

Both left and right media need to keep their minds on reporting important stuff and forget anything related to video games.

Come on, really? The things that a kid will take out of these games are things like: "Oh, I should actually pay attention to the kinds of resources we use in the long term." If you think that's wrong, than you are an idiot. Straight up.

Obviously there are jackoffs profiting off of it in some form, but I doubt the development of the game had anything to do with them. Mre like the obvious scientific facts of how resources work. If you continue to use just carbon fuel at the rate that we do in our society, than your society will run out within the next 50-100 years just like it will in real life. Learning how to manage resources is a huge part of life. How that's wrong is beyond me.

Anyways, I laughed at this whole segment, so thanks for posting, haha.

Since when is CNN liberal?

Or do you mean they're liberal compared to Fox News? Because everyone's liberal compared to Fox News.

And this is a little different than the usual suspects of "murder sims" and "sex sims" that are spewed, not just by talking heads...but politicians (both the dems and the gop).

Going on about some liberal conspiracy to brainwash children...is kinda funny to hear, though.
