Mario Kart Wii is SOOO getting delayed. I'm expecting a November release at the earliest.

Nintendo needs to get better third party support or it's going down.

Only games I plan on buying are Endless Ocean, No More Heroes, SSB, maybe King of Fighters(haven't seen anything on it yet) and Mario Kart.

If it means making the game that much better or adding more content, I'm all for it.

Nintendo needs something for the summer, I'm going to say a late June/early July release.

I agree. I really hope they have some kickass secret projects they have been working on.

There's nothing on the DS that's appealing to me. Lots of stuff for the Wii though.

So its going to go from March to the mid summer now?

Last year they had WarioWare in mid January, Wii Play in mid February, Super Paper Mario in early April, Big Brain Academy in mid June, Mario Strikers Charged in late July and Metroid in late August.

Wii Fit is out in Japan already so that should be out for May.
Nintendo needs a new game for the summer and they'll market the Wii Wheel to lure the casual gamers from Wii Sports/Play/Fit.

That still leaves Mario Stadium Baseball, Wii Music, Disaster Day of Crisis and Animal Crossing for the last half of the year.

But we'll get the news sooner or later.

I agree that Wii needs better 3rd party support. With Wii's console base catching up with 360, you'd think more 3rd party would try to bring better games for it. The only 3rd party games I think I'll get are No More Hero, MLB 2K8, Deca Sports, and Star Wars Unleashed (maybe Speed Racer so I can use the new wheel).

For Nintendo games, I'll definitely get Brawl, Mario Kart, and Wii Fit.

Wii is getting more 3rd party support than the GC.

Meh, I'm not worried about the Wii's sales being hurt this year. You have to remember, noone holds their projects closer to their chests than Nintendo.

I am positive that we'll get announcements of a new Star Fox and Pikmin game for late this year, or early next year...as well as some new IP's, including a new game in the Kid Icarus franchise.

Plus I'm pretty stoked about some third party games, and people seem to just look past them since their not M rated gore or boob fests.

    No More Heroes
    Dragon Quest: Swords
    Opoona
    Blast Works
    De Blob
    Rygar
    Nitro Bike

I think all of these look fantastic.

Yeah, but since GC is one of Nintendo's biggest failures, it doesn't take much to surpass it.

Anyway, I hope Wii will get more exclusive titles and not just stupid PS2 ports in the future. Wii has some graphic prowess (witness Super Mario Galaxy and Matroid Prime 3), but most 3rd parties are just contend to get their Wii games some of the crappiest graphics out there (like Raw vs Smackdown).

    Kid Icarus?
    Disaster: Day of Crisis?
    Wii Music?

Nintendo has done well for the first half of 2008, good to hear the second half won't be dull. Updated the release date list.

Looks at the list, aside from Brawl (which I got), the games that I may get are:

    Mario Kart Wii
    Wii Fit
    Star Wars: The Force Unleashed
Rock Band (although no DLC = teh suck)
    Ghostbusters (I hope it'll rock)
Iron Man (need to see trailer first, but I love ol' Metalhead)
    Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2

The games I'm on the fence are:
    LEGO Indiana Jones
Madden (got 2 previous Maddens and I need some convincing b4 buying another)
    Residen Evil Zero

After getting Brawl in March, I realized that I may be getting one Wii game per month for the next 3 months:

    Mario Kart (April)
    Wii Fit (May)
    Rock Band (June)

That's alot of games in such a short span of time.

Famitsu's latest issues reveals release dates for Japan for 2 games:

Super Mario Stadium Family Baseball → June 19 / 5,800 yen (tax included)
Disaster: Day of Crisis → July 3 / 6,800 yen (tax included)

Nintendo's Media Summit starts this Thursday so we can expect some news on upcoming games. SMSFB could be an August release and it would be great to see DDoC in September.
